Lid skids and Jumping

I have these lid skids in my mailbox right now and I'm going to put them on the gorgeous Notorious body I have made to fit my Kraton. Just finished making my jump and I want to protect the body as much as I can as a beginning-to-learn jumper.

HA! I think you are right, this is for the few times It goes sliding down the street on the lid, I know the jumping will eventually destroy it. It's so pretty I just want to protect it as much as I can...
