I like this idea. Cool scale accessory to have. What level of scale does it have to be to make it worth it for you?
I ask because I almost bought these tonight...but

I like they are metal, aluminum to be specific. They are printed, so not embossed numbering. Where I have drawn red circles is what's bugging me. That 25 in the corner is a registration sticker, and you only get 1 that goes on the rear plate. I am sure its for cost and production efficiency to make them both the same...but it's not right. Am I making too much of this?

I've used a label maker to do up mini license plates as "vanity plates" do this seller give you the option of what the plate says? That level of detail is pretty fun. I would just paint over the "wrong" registration sticker. Also they gotta update to the red 28's!

I love scale license plates. I actually have a list of plates that I want to get for my rigs. So you get two plates from this shop? Since the reg sticker is on both, I'd just use it for the back of two rigs 😉.

I'm looking to purchase mine from rcplateshop.com

Yes, 2 plates, and yes to custom text. They do offer other states, I just happen to live in this 1.

Side note. Massachusetts requires a front and rear plate which is why the minor gripe on my end....otherwise I like @OnwardGuinevere 's suggestion for a rear plate for 2 cars.
Added inconvenience, we also have inspection stickers on the windshield. Which is definitely an easily printable item.

You can probably reach out to them and see if they can do one plate without the reg tag. Never hurts to inquire. Here in WA we need front and rear plates too. Though, the front plate on one of our cars is a vanity one I made, it's been in there for years with no issues 😉.

My daily driver might also have a few things I've been sliding by on for years.

A related question....if you did buy license plates....do you by the plates for the state you live in, or plates for a state you would like to live in?
All mine are florida based. My main plate place closed shop so I'm thinking about going here. They also have specialty plates.
