What are you guys using to restore that "just peeled the protective film" new body gloss look? Rubbing compound? Wax? Clear coat? What works good to bring that shine back?

Doesn't happen often, but sometimes the body and paint outlive my driving ability.

I'll share a little trick I learned building model cars here. Future floor polish.
It's basicly a self leveling acrylic clear coat. You can just brush it on the body. (thicker over the scratches) Or airbrushing would be better.

BTW; It does have to be Future. Just any floor polish won't work.
