Hey,

I've got a mate who wants to get into buggys and is looking at the MP7.5 RTR. I've got the Kanai 3 edition and he likes the toughness of that buggy, but doesn't really have the $$$ to splash out on one.

As a basher are they any good? e.g. Jumping and stuff like that.

He doesn't want to get something that he has to keep replacing A-Arms and stuff like that everytime he goes over a jump.

Anyone got any experience with these?

Thanks!!!

O jeez...here we go...

Bottom line is, they suck, it's been brought up a few times before....

it has a plastic spur, weak diffs, weak shocks, and a bunch of other stuff...IMO, it's not even worth $300....

h/o here for a min, and I'll find the thread discussing all the problems w/ them.

Thanks for the info, I think he will leave it then!!! Didn't think they would be that much worse!!!!

Man...I must suck at searching!!!!

X-Terminator is the best entry level basher IMO. I had a MP7.5 kit, and it was good, never heard anything good about the RTR version.

thats for the sport.... the regular kit would be great for him. $300+ $134 (on tower) OS RG(awesome cheap motor) + electronics $150+

Definitely don't do it! I had it, the engine was crap, the shocks were weak, the towers were weak, and the chassis was flmsy. I had it for a couple of months, then sold for 1/2 what I paid for it, just cause it was a pain to get parts for it. Bought an Hyper 7 PBS-Sweet ride. That's my 2 cents!

Ya, the sport is the only mp 7.5 rtr....and the sport kit sucks just as bad, but the regular mp 7.5 or 777 kits are good.
