Kyosho Inferno ST US Sports Truggy

I have a Kyosho Inferno SR US Sports ST Truggy-and I power on the radio then when I power on the switch for the car nothing happens. Then when I try to trigger the radio throttle there should be some movement on the carb and the wheels don't even move . I verified the wires for the batteries and all is good. Maybe a radio setting I don't know.
Can someone help me out.

Could be a dead reciever if there is absolutely no movement at all. Try a different one if you have.
