dont forget to order your diff oils too. 1000, 5000, and 7000 are what you will want to order.
That's a personal preference rather than assuming what he needs. Some of us use 100k center, 50k front and 30k rear so it's almost like not having a diff but a solid shaft for the best possible traction while still having semi diff properties.

So is yours.. that is personal preference.. if the guy is gonna race at all.. i think 5/7/1 is the way to go.. thats what i use.. thats what Corrado uses.. thats what Degani uses.. another option is 3/7/1

it was mearly a suggested starting point to get him going in the right direction, its his first time building a kit. he already said he has oils that he likes anyway.

Actually this is the third kit I will be building. Its just my first 1/8 buggy kit. And yeah, already got oils but thanks for your input though :D I got 5,7,3. Seems to work great in my X-Terminator.

It came today!!!! A few problems though, it didn't come with foams for the tires. I don't know why but this kinda sucks. Not really a problem but all the shock towers and stuff are actually blue, not gold like in the pics of it. I'm gunna start the build tonight. I can't wait!!!

have fun.. good luck.. if you got questions.. feel free to ask.. alot of us on here will be glad to help.. so they came with blue towers.. not orange.. sweet.. maybe they decided to not make the orange anymore.. my original 7.5 came with orange..

Finished the build last night! It only took me 1 day to build. It was a lot of fun, I was out driving it for the first time today and was amazing. I just love the way this buggy moves. Thanks to all those who helped, this is one hell of a buggy!

I got a few pics, lemme know if you want some links to them.
