Kudos to Fossil Customer Support

Just a little story I would like to share.


I had a very expensive (300 bucks) wrist watch made by Fossil when i lived in Houston, Texas that broke just two days after I bought it. i was at work and caught it on a shelf and it snapped in two, shattering the faceplate. This was, of course an issue for the repair center, who told me I could ship the watch on their bill and they would fix it for 20 dollars plus the cost of a new battery.

unfortunately, it seems the watch got lost in the mail. I got busy with some legal stuff and then moving and such and completely forgot about the entire thing for right over a year. The other day, it popped into my head, and I got to wondering about the watch, so I called Fossil. Turns out it was a employeems fault and they ended up shipping me a brand new watch of the same price in the mail, 3 day shipping.

Kudos to them, they are a great company, with better CS to boot.

Very cool. I just got a Fossil for Christmas and I love it. It's copper and I'm finding a few tarnished spots on it. So I may just give them a holler to see if that's normal and see what they can do about it. Good info Tweak.

Always nice to hear a good story! I have a fossil and I love it. I have had it for about 5 years now and it still works as good as the day I bought it!

I had a fossil when I was in high school and the second hand fell off and jammed up the other hands. I was out past my curfew and Dad let me have it when I got home, their customer service didn't offer up anything for that! LOL

Good to hear. Always been a fan of Fossil things. I liked my first wallet so much that when it got chewed (some dumb bitches bitch) I went out and bought the same exact one.. come to think of it I suppose I have a habit of doing that... hmm.
