Know any good slot car forums?

I was posting over at Slot Car Illustrated, but they've decided that I need to fill out personal information that I'm just not comfortable giving out, and see no need for them to know. So, now I'm looking for a good slot car oriented forum, prefferebly one with a good HO scale section.

Anyone know of a good one?

I'm sort of interested as well. I've recently been bitten by the slot bug and my 3 y/o son finds it fun so it's another car thing we can enjoy together in the house. However, I have not yet ventured out into the slot forums.

There used to be a guy on here called Bill Plude . He probably has over 200 by now . He might be able to give you some good sites . This is his website I think : http://www.75th-meu.com/slotscontents.htm . I just checked and there is no way to contact him that I could see . Still lots of info there though .

I was thinking of getting my dad a slot car track. Whenever I go to my LHS he says that slot cars were his favorite when he was little.

Plude's the guy that got me interested again, when he started posting his slot car stuff over here, a couple of years ago. He's a regular at the SCI forums.

I put in obviously fake information my profile over there, hoping it would get me around the nag screens, untill I could find a better place. I'm wondering how long, before some one notices, and I get banned. I usually try to be respectfull of the rules, moderators, and members of the forums I'm signed up on, but I don't give out my personal information without a very good reason. An internet forum is not a good reason. Had these rules been in place, when I singed up over there, I'd have never registered.
