Has anyone had success with klunk tanks on cars/trucks? I am wanting to increase my current tank size, but all I can find with correct dimensions are klunks.

All a klunk tank is is a tank with a weighted fuel pickup on a hose so to keep the pickup covered in fuel while the airplane is upside down.

A cut~A`way video of a Klunk tank.
Skip to 1:20 to see the klunk :)

Thanks for the input. I figured they would just fine on a car/truck. The only dilemma may be refilling the tank. Seems like most klunk tanks dont have the flip top lid for refueling. I may try to add a flip top myself to a klunk tank.

Pretty much every modern 1/8 buggy/truggy comes w/ a klunk in the tank. They are all flip top.

For example; you can get a brand new Hot Bodies D8T fuel tank for about $10, klunk w/ filter, flip top, and fuel line included! :D
