so i ran it on a 2s pack, and it was fun, but i dont care for 2s that much when I'm trying to break stuff, 3s is much more effective for that lol,
made up a connector so i could use my big 3s pack ( the packs for the tekno)
i love it!! it eats bumps like they arent there and jumps the hills like they were made for the truck. can't wait to get out and make up a small course to really try it out on,
got her nice n muddy, bathtub looks SOOOOO bad, wifes gonna kill me muahahahaaa
if I'm not annoying her am i even really doing my job as husband???

The mud makes me cringe but that looks like a lot of fun!
Leave it to Horizon to come out with an RC intended to run in mud. I bet before they released the truck they already ordered a bunch of replacement parts to sell for it.

You fix that by buying aftermarket though 😉

I hereby dub thee pig pen! 🤣 I think you next purchase should be a 6S Arrma Kraton just so the rest of your rigs can get a little rest, and your next tattoo should say "Born to Bash". 😜

You'll need a few of these to get the big chunks of mud off... otherwise... 😎👍❤️

This is the truck you are going to race, right?

So wider tires and lower running height maybe?

Got any pointers on set up from racers at that track you were at?
Clearly they know how to stay upright! 👍
I've been talking to a few of them, i have to learn better throttle control basically, its all user malefunction. dude made me a video of him doing tight figure 8 and perfect j turns, he stayed upright the whole time. its just gotta be learned sadly.... on the plus side it will eventually be corrected lol
the mega class has to basically stay stock as they come out of the box a little mean (allegedly) in comparison to a normal lmt,

Can you run a different rx/tx in it, and maybe mess around with expo on it to make it a little more “manageable”.

Well, I guess learning is ok if you aren't allowed to spend money... 🤣

If "stock" is the game, shifting the weight to lower center of gravity and such would be my thought.
You'll get it. 😎
Having a nice groomed track would go a long way toward the goal too.

thats what I'm thinking to help out as well yeah, i definately need a better controller for this purpose, one that lets me access my esc settings and such, but this is to come later

you have a gt3b right? You can do it with that, at least to get ya going for now.

Watching your video it was like our mt8 on the stock radio. The esc is locked in that and can’t change anything so I swapped the radio and it made it much more manageable. Stock it would stand up or flip over almost instantly no matter how easy you tried to get into it 😂 and my son wouldn’t even drive it for a while cause he got so frustrated with it.

mine has been on the fritz for months now, i thought i kept getting bad recievers, turns out my controller wont program or read servo settings past channel 3, each time i run a truck i gotta re adjust all the settings, is weird, but I've learned to deal with it ujntill i can afford a monster transmitter lol

so it holds the first 3 channels, ( tek, cen, and old) but each other channels wont register the servo and it acts like theres not one plugged in. so now i just run them all on 1 of those 3 and just adjust before i drive, its been working decently well for crawling but for racing i think i need a dedicated controller for it so i dont have these issues.

Buy another one and return the old one. You haven't had that one very long.
