Man, I could put almost anything down, but I'm not. You'll probably get the tag when WoodiE quits playing with his pony sometime in the next hour or day r so and changes your user status. It's not an automatic thing and only him and Chris ccan do that.

True LSD's have to have either a clutch mechanism or aplanetary and sun gear setup. Since R/C's are too small to have a clutch mechanism inside the diff, the only options is the planet/sun setup.

The TDC type just distributes load and provides a bit more resistance, just like adding heavier diff fluid. The higher viscosity fluid just provides resistance for the whole thing to spin independantly, so it 'acts' like a LSD. Personally, I think TCD's are the best route for durability and cost, and tuneability. Diff fluid is cheap and easy, and it works.
