Hey,

I've got a Kanai 3, and for a laugh want to be able to put on MT wheels when I bash with it. I don't want to change anything on the buggy itself, just use some kind of adapters so that the hex size is 14mm, this way I can go back to "buggy" mode easy.

Does anyone sell anything like this? I've seen 1 guy selling a kit on e-bay that includes new shock towers, radio tray etc...but he wouldn't just sell me the adapters (and didn't want to fork out $150USD for the whole kit when I only want the adapters!!!)

Any help would be great,

Thanks,
Gus.

Ofna sells those adaptors, but all your going to do is tear up your clutch. The tires are too large for the gearing in a buggy.

Ofna sells 14mm adapters, as does GS, and proline sells the 23mm ones. But you'll definately want to at least re-gear that puppy a little before running those tires...

is their a better clutch that could take it? I've got the 3 shoe alum clutch with .9 spings in there now.

I've also been thinking of getting one of those .32 racers edge engines in there for when it was in "truggy" mode. Perhaps with that engine (its got a OS VZB in there now) it might have enough "ommph" to push her along with a better clutch?

EDIT: Wow...2 replies in the time it took me to write that...you guys are FAST!!!!!

I might get the 2nd engine as well then, and have it setup with a different geared clutch bell...saves me from buying a MT, so guess its cheaper in the end.
