Hey guys,

I've got a brand new Kyosho MP777 headed my way and need a few suggestions. First off I am not racing this buggy, I'm downsizing my R/C stuff so I am selling all of my R/C stuff and I'm gunna keep and maintain this new buggy.

I'll be running a Wasp .28 engine, but what tuned pipe? I'm thinking about either the Vantage CF pipe that I can get from Bruce for 78.99 or the THS at tower for 74.99. Which do you like? Others I should look into?

For radio I have a Airtronics MX-A w/super micro reciever. I also have a HS-645MG that I'll use for throttle/brakes, and a HS-5645MG for steering. Also a 5-cell hump pack.

Tires, the buggy does come with tires but I don't like the ones they come with that much and want to look into some better ones. So far I like the Badlands the best. Keep in mind that'll I just be bashing on grass and dirt etc. Anything else I should look into??

I believe I have enough diff oil left I've got 5K 7K and 3K so I think I'm set. I also have 40 wt. shock oil that should be good.

Anything I'm missing?

Thanks a lot guys...

I thought only the Special 1 had the special diffs? If not does it come with the fluid you need?

Anyone have suggestions about the pipe and tires?

Not sure on the engine but you should get a pipe that compliments your engine's power band, Tires, well I love the proline Knuckles 2.0 as they are an all around great tire for most surfaces.

I already got a engine, its a Wasp .28. Has a lot of power everywhere. I'm looking for a all around pipe. Anybody try out the Vantage pipe? What about the THS pipe?

Oh and what are the differences in proline tires between XTR compound and M2??

I understand you have one just not sure what the power band is on it. Is it a grunt in torque or is it a speed demon and revs high. On my picco 26 I use the Jp-2 pipe and it is awesome. The said pipes I would like to try but never have. Sorry!!

Oh I see, the engine seems to have a lot of torque, but even more top end I think. Its a great engine. I really like the looks of the THS pipe but beyond looks idk lol. Anyone try it?

jon, do you know the difference between M2 and XTR proline tires?

Difference between XTR and M2 anyone? lol, I wanna order these up today!

From what I know of the M2 material is a softer material that will give you more grip or traction as opposed to the XTR material. The XTR is a tougher longer lasting type tire.

Ok thanks a lot jon. I think I'm gunna get teh XTR so it'll last me a while.

Hey man Bruce @ rushrc has some sweet 1/8th scale Moab tires in 17.99 a pair i just ordered some myself, the tread pattern is pretty wicked, there an all around tire great for any surface your running on. Check his thread in the manufacture forum.Good Luck with your purchase..
