Sweet setup my friend. That is one really nice looking chassis. I can't wait to hear how things go this weekend.

Hey Ed, Do you have to cut the top tab off of your servo on this kit as well?

Tom

No mods in the servo.
You may want to sand and glue the edges on the CF. Is optional. If your not familiar with doing this we can guide you.

Have fun wrecking.... uh, I mean racing your new toy.

J/k Eddy. Have fun at the races.

Yes... guidance with this would be helpful.... Thanks!

Tom

I'm not sure what you mean.
It has a standard set going to the ESC and an on off. There is a connector on the ESC for the Brushless motor to plug into along with the 3 wires for motor.

The sensor wire in this picture, does the LRP ESC come with it?

No, it does not. It comes with the motors (I hope)
I believe its attached to the Novak and is a separate unit on the LRPs.

Sensor wire will be attached to the 4.5R.

Thanks for the clarification. I'm ordering one from Tower and wasn't sure if I needed to add the wire to my order.

I'm not much on electrics, but all that graphite and alumimum sure is purty.Nice ride man.

The hardest part right now is deciding what music to listen to while I build. I think Pink Floyd should get me going.

When I built my R40 I listened to Dark Side, Wish You Were Here, and Animals.

SOOOO... I am dying to know... how did it race this weekend?

Tom

He wussed out and raced his TC4. :green-grin:

I put it out on the track for a pack and couldn't get it dialed in good enough to race. It has a lot of balls and is smooth but I need to work on the setup to get it to hook up better.

I didnt feel comfortable racing it so she hid in her box all day pouting.
(WUSED OUT!!!)
