are these things fun?jump around slide and spin around? how are they compared to a 2.5? smallest thing I have ran is a 3.3 since I was a kid.

can you run 12 turn 550's

I love mine they will jump quite well do dounuts ect. not sure if the evx will go that low. If I had to guess I would say no on the 12 turns. the stock plastic shocks have gotta go , pick up a pair of traxxas aluminum big bore shocks and you will be ok, there the plastic shocks tend blow off there shock caps under heavy abuse at least thats been my experiance...I hope the link helped solve your problem...here is a pick of my e maxx... https://www.rcnitrotalk.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=6020&d=1207435896 this is from the manual Motor Limit ....................................................19 turns minimum (550 size)

Lessen I was under the impression they were 19t 550. I had a 12t 550 in a rustler last year. Am I wrong on that, abad9420? I have read the ones with the evx had a 19t.

If we are talkin about the same motor (Traxxxas Titan 550) it is 23T. There are two of these in the E-Maxx I just bought + this extra one.

Lesson was correct the e maxx you have has 23 turn motors the new 16.8 version has 21 turn motors both are $24 each on the traxxas site, Trinity has these motors that would make a big difference http://www.teamtrinity.com/shop/item.asp?item=9242 hope this helps...

OK, so I have a 23 turn that sucks!! I want power and speed will the 19t take much upgrades? I have hardned cvd's everywhere, center, from diffs to wheels what else?

so I just got rid of a tmaxx all hopped up tranny, motor, arms, everything. so does the E have metal gears in the diffs? and is the tranny like a 2.5 or 3.3??? I think my wife is going to kill me, she is just getting over the Tmaxx and me getting rid of it. Now I want to build a bad ass E, and it will be done.I think I will go brushless but I want to have the drive line done first.

The drive lines you have are fine, they will take the power of a brushless motor no problem, I have MIP cvd's just like you and I am running mine with the Novak HV brushless esc with the 6.5 motor and the only problem that I am having is with the plastic gears in the transmission, the diffs on the e maxx are the same diffs that are in the 2.5 t maxx, so yes they are metal...I personally have my truck set up more for backyard bashing and crawling over stuff so it is geared way down with a 76t spur and 10t pinion and I have spools front and rear for full time 4WD, so no diffs....

You will want to do the same suspesion upgrades that you did on your T-Maxx such as RPM arms, big bore shocks, etc... to have a strong basher

I got it today and I need to charge the packs. One is a terengy 3800 and it has 7 c size batteries and I also got a dynamite twin peaks charger. Are those decent? I has some get up but nothing like a picco .21...LOL

is it a quick charger???
?????

I guesss it is quick but man it warms up. I like the MIP cvd's all around. oh and they are power packs 2400 and trigney 2400 I think.

I can't figure out how to set the speed control.I have the EVX I suppose its the oldest thing out there.
