Just bought new Revo w/ sirio .23, was it a good deal?

thats an awsome deal. the .23 engine costs around $350 by itself plus the revo cost between $449 and $479. That seller got ripped off!!! LOL

Great deal. I would have swooped it up if I saw it and I already have a Revo.
 
I suck!!! Just got off ebay and the best thing I saw was an LST for $535. $560 shipped.


Funny though I also found a guy that sets an auction at .01 but then tells you he has the reserve set at $599 due to manufacturer's agreement, but will take it if you bid over $530 plus $30 shipping..... Does anyone remember that scene in "The Jerk" where he's telling the customers what they can win??? LOL!!

Thanks for the input I'm glad to hear I made the right choice :dance: ....I really dont know that much about the REVO or the Sirio .23. I have two T-maxx's one with Dynamite Mach .26 and one with O.S. .21. Which would you say is better the T-Maxx or the Revo? I love my maxx's to death :boxing:
 
you will have loads of fun with the new revo. it is like a t-maxx except it sits lower to the ground for better handling, suspension is smooth as silk just like the t-maxx, more balanced, much more adjustable than a t-maxx, and its basically a race truck. you might actually like your revo more than your t-maxx. and with the sirio .23 motor that thing is gonna fly, and tear up you neighbors lawn.
 
I would've bought that deal, pulled the .23 Sirio, put the 2.5 back in and sold it for $430 shipped! Slamin deal you got!
 
yeah that is a smoking deal.......I would have swopped on it if I had seen it....u lucky bastich!
 
I hope for the best that you received the truck by now. You took a very courageous step to bid on that truck, given the kind of feedback he has. He hasbeen selling "new" trucks for unbeleivable prices, each time claiming that it is cos of his divorce. Most buyers are claiming that he doesn't ship anything and no refund either.

WOW i'm glad you brought that to my attention! When I purchased the truck he had all positive feedback. And no i havent recieved my truck yet...but it takes up to a month sometimes for me to get big boxes here in Germany. I did write him a email :argue: asking WTF is going on. I will keep you guys posted!
 
What does that mean? Ebay cancelled him?
Is there any way bstri001 can file a complaint with Ebay or PayPal to cancel his payment?
C'mon guys, help him out here. Give him the info he needs before it's too late.
 
I once too been through the same situation.... I got screwed on a tmaxx..I took a chance on a low feedback seller and got stood up... I filed a complaint with ebay and ended up getting some of my money back...It took a while but i ended up getting the maximum of $175...Its not much but something is better than nothing.. :shrug:

If you payed with a credit card, or with paypal paying from a credit card, you can contest the charges, and get your money back.
 
Thanks alot guys for all the help....I paid with a credit card through PayPal, so I filed my complaint through them. He has until the 27th to respond. That will be the last time I ever deal with anyone on ebay with a low feed back score! :doh: Another thing that makes me MAD is after I won the auction he was so nice and willing to help in anyway he could to make the transaction go smooth. We emailed back and forth about 6 times. And the last email he sent he told me the truck was shipped. What a SCAM. :censored:
 
I'm glad to hear it's sounding better. I think you're covered as far as getting your payment back. Keep an eye on his Ebay account. I'm pretty sure he'll be cancelled.
 
Pk well I sent a revo over to Canada and it took over a month for it to get there via USPS. I was thinking that the member was going to get angry over it. I will never do that again! UPS or Fed EX only as they have real time tracking. Hope all is well with you.
