just another fuel question...

Hey, forum

I'm used to running Traxxas Top Fuel, however I also primarily had small block engines. I currently have two omega .21 engines. one on my t-maxx and one on my buggy.

the one on the maxx hasn't hardly been started yet, so it's still virgin. however the one on my storm buggy has been broken in on twenty percent top fuel.

my question is: should I stick with top fuel, or change fuel for the .21s. I'm still going to run the top fuel in my 2.5s because it seems to run pretty good. (rustler and s-maxx)

I realize that i'll have to retune. my choices are pretty much: Top Fuel 10% 20% and 30%, Rocket Science 30%, White Lighting 20%, and Blue Thunder 20%.

edit: I'm also getting a savage 25 in the near future.

i only run blue thunder 20%..for the savage and buggy and have no complaints

(just make sure your wife doesn't use it for windshild washer fluid) LOL

oh my dad already did that. He thought it was MY windsheild wiper fluid.

He called me up in class and asked me what was up with my windsheild wiper fluid.

"This stuff doesn't work worth a F***!" I responded: where did you get my wiper fluid from. (knowing I didn't own any wiper fluid)
"your desk where your r/c cars are!"
"that's not wiper fluid, dynamite doesn't make wiper fluid. They make r/c fuel"

Needless to say, he had a fun time replacing his wiper fluid lines and jets. Oh and fixing his paint.

I run Rocket Science. IMO, its great stuff. I'm actually looking forward to running out of Trinity Monster so i can get another gallon of Rocket Science.

smooth idle..reliable...thats probably all I will buy from now on.

i almost bought some.. cause thats all our podunk ass hobby shop had that was 30% but i dont like the fact that its 12% oil so i bought white lighting 20% it still runs better that tha blue stuff imo..

I've never even heard of "Rocket Science". Anyway, if ya broke it in with Top fuel, and seem to be having good luck with it, Id stick with it. I went from a Tmaxx to a Savage 25 and burned the rest of my top fuel up in my savage and it ran good. No complaints. But I currently run Trinity Horsepower, and like it alot to. Also Blue thunder is good but made my 2.5 run pretty warm.

i also run it. its about $88/case from www.nitrofactory.com which is a lot cheaper than my LHS at $30+/gallon. i like my LHS a lot, but i have to draw the line somewhere.
