Been seeing alot of people wondering about winter break ins would it be smarter to get a used but yet good running engine lets say off ebay to run around during the winter months and save the new one for spring when the weather warms up and this way you get the best of both worlds by being able to bash in the snow and cold if the engine still runs by spring you have a back-up? just a thought. I been looking and found some under $40 shipped and a brand new ~~~~~>HPI k4.6 for i believe $99 with shipping<~~~~this one wasn't broke in but taken out of a SS kit thought it was a decent deal

Running a used engine in the winter is totally different than breaking an engine in, which is what has been the hot topic lately. A half-ass worn out engine can benefit from the metal contracting in the cold.
