I have decided to delete the trans all together. 😳🥺😦
I will be running this 775 dual. With an 880 HW. Direct. This is mini bench grinders and saws and power drills domain. Have to figure out the build still. The foundation is no trans. Just to see for proof of concept. Think this is a way to make MT trucks fun to make. Part on the way.

I'm curious on the design......delete the transmission? So you anchor the motor in the frame and attach a driveshaft to each end of the motor....the giant 775 motor? The torque twist sounds like it has potential to be magical....
I made a truck similiar to the idea already.

using a direct drive 4092 930kv motor on 6S into a 1.2 to one transfer case. The. Though it would be easier to just have dual outputs and torque and let the ESC do the heavy lifting. Making another CEN chassis MT like the Green Goblin truck. Just to see how it would work. Lower center mass. Thinking saddle packs. Capra style axles.

Interesting...
If you go direct drive off both ends ...is there an axle set with a diff ? Just thinkng, if a wheel gets bound up it would give the energy somewhere to go instead of breaking stuff.

Usually if I build them right it just snaps the wheel off clean at the stub axle. So it's a good cheap weak point. Have to really drive the truck smart. There is only lash and skill keeping if from destroying itself. Like the Green Goblin does. But the slow speed control is also amazing. Could pull a stump.

So would run both center pumpkins, or an offset front with motor to one side and split the difference on ok driveshaft angle?
Yeah direct to each diff with steel driveshafts. Could add 5 mm couplers to absorb shock. They have a rubber cog thing.
