jato on/off switch

is there anyway i could eliminate the on/off switch on my jato.could someone tell me how does the wiring plug up on the on/off switch does the red go in the battery only?

the off/on switch does not turn the engine on or off. it turns the radio off/on. you could leave it on but if you drive past a radar unit the car will do crazy things. and run the battery down in a few hours.
