Looking for a platform that if all else is equal thats comparable to the jato.Just starting to drag and everyone has jatos around here but i don't want one.I'm trying to figure out a few things like could I use a 4wd 1/10 with alot of engine or which 2wd plaform could I use to be just as fast. Thanks in advance

Well I've always thought about building an HPI RS4 dragger. They are 4wd and with a big enough engine on it and a long enough wheelie bar and some jako foams i believe it will be a bad ass little drag rig!

Sounds interesting but I'm not looking for a car platform. 1/10 stadium truck platform is what I'm trying to do. Thanks anyway. Anyone with some info?

I think the Jato has the biggest powerplant in the ST line-up, if I were you I would buy a Firestorm then drop a big block in her.

Dont go Schumacher. I built a Picco.28 Menace. Every run blew the truck apart. Big POS.

Losi has the Speed T.

Can the firestorms gearing be as fast as a jato thru 200ft?
Also was wondering if anyone knows the guy that put a 2 speed on it.

I know that a big block can go in these other chassis what want to see is a platform that's beating jatos.

Jato

I have two jatos that i be racing one have a os 21tm and the other one have a picco 26 red dot they my question is which one will beat a jato os18tz on my 21 i have 24 cb /54spur ;i on the. 26 i have 24cb/ 52spur we race from 132to150ft which one of them should win thanks

Thats a good price on that Rusty....Its hopped up from here to hell and back. If I was going to try to build a Jato Killer it would probably be with a Rusty just cuz there are so many parts that can be used from other traxxas kits on it. For $175 Id probably snag that guys Rusty, and at the very least Id buy an ERCM pipe for it but if I had the money Id buy a higher RPM racing engine and then have an ERCM pipe made for that. Just my .02

OK, I feel like a dunce now... IDK why I mistook that for a Rusty O_o
Its clearly an Associated even if i didnt know what an RC10GT was lol. I guess I'm so used to the look of my Rusty with Jaco foams I just concluded it was a Rusty since I didnt really look at the car in detail. mostly was just looking at the engine and some of the hop ups. Either way its still has a lot of mods and is a good price for the kit though :)
