Jato battery box?

Do they make a battery box for the jato that moves it from the rear to the middle of the truck?

The Jato comes factory with a mid section RX pack box, its between the gas tank and the engine.

mine is at the rear of the jato.

i just found a short on my jato. its not wires to the elec box or the box. i think its the switch. now all 3 r/cs are down. and i dont feel like working on them.

it has both, the one on the rear that takes reg AA batteries then there is one in front of the motor that takes a 5 cell rechargeable pack.

So if I use the 1 in front of the motor I do away with the one in the back? And I guess I have to get a battery pack for it also?

you can put it in either place depending on how you want to shift the weight
and it will look like this

nope just take the cover off reach inside unplug the wires going to the back of the car and plug in your battery and reinstall cover

Traxxas NiMH 5-Cell 6V 1200mAh fits in the front compartment
