well as some of you might have read in my other threead i was having starting problems, well they are now fixed!:D I'm not shure what the problem was because all i done was put a pull start on it and the fawker started right up!

Now to the new problem, The servos go nuts after being on for about 30 secs! bother the throttle and the steering servo jump back and forth. But if i shut the power off to the car and turn it back on it will be fine for another 30 secs. any info on that??

Sounds like you and your car are suffering from poor communication issues. Give some info. What kind of radio setup are you using. Does it di it only when tx is on or off too? Have you tried in diffetent location incase some sort of major interference is taking place?
 
the servos are jumping back and forth, it dont matter if the tx is on or off they just go nuts! i dont think there is any interference here because i can drive my savage here with no problems. and I'm using the spektrum DX3E
 
Sounds like your receiver has gone wonky. However I am by no means an RC expert and new to the hobby, I do have a bit of experience in electronics. My recommendation is to post in Forums>RC Mechanics>Radio Gear and perhaps the radio gurus can assist.
 
Process of elimination-

Unplug your steering servo and plug your throttle servo into the steering servo port on the receiver. Wait the 30 seconds or so to see if it also goes nuts. If not, unplug your throttle servo and plug your steering servo into your throttle port and see if it goes nuts there as well.

Only have 1 servo plugged in at a time. If you find out that with either single server plugged into either the steering or throttle port that nothing strange happens, plug them both back into the opposite places they go at the same time and see if the one plugged into the steering port goes nuts on you.

Could be a bad servo, or could be load on the receiver is freaking out one of the outputs. Using one servo at a time tests the servos individually. Plugging both into their opposite ports kind of tests both servos again, but also tests current handling of the receiver.

If in the end, your steering servo gets flaky regardless what port you plug it into, then your steering servo has issues. However, if either servo has issues when plugged into the steering port, your receiver has issues.

Or, you have a power supply problem if it only happens when both are plugged in. Could still be a bad solder joint in the receiver, but you can then also check your switch and all battery connections along with your batteries/battery pack to make sure they have sufficient charge. If they do, then it points back to your receiver having an issue internally.

Just an FYI, you may want to check your attitude a bit at the door... Most of us have lives outside of RC and are not constantly monitoring every post that goes on every hour and every minute of every day. We do try to respond as quickly as we can, but obviously do not be surprised if you have to wait a day or two to get solid info for an issue.

Let us know your findings and we can maybe help you further if necessary.
