My jato is making a funny clicking sound when i roll it on the ground. It makes about the same sound backwards and forwards. It does not run at the momeny, since i am changing somethings.

what can this be?

Broken bearing, stripped gear, something caught in the rim, loose driveshaft. Start looking it over and eliminating one thing at a time. Shouldn't be too hard to track down on a 2wd truck.

my gears are fine. bearing are good. took wheels off and turned the bar thing it still made the sound.
mmm

Mine had that problem. Or something similar anyway. There's a screw that goes through the back of the trans case into the battery box. Mine vibrated loose and the head of the screw went right into the diff gear and ruined it.

okay i just tried starting it. and it wouldny start up.. i think i need a glow plug.. it make like a gluk sound. hard to explain. but i took the cable connecting to the glow plug. and it made the same sound so thats why i am assuming glow plug

and ill check out that screw..thanks

its not a stripped spur gear is it,, o and i stopped using ez start glow plug wire.. hot shot ignitors are waaaaaay better..

pull your diff out and c if it make the sound. i had the same problem and i pulled the diff and tranny and check everything. once i put it back together the problem went away
