I'm going to end up building this car for my friend. If you could only see what his Storm looks like :wasted: I should be recieving the car this week, any tips that I should know about this kit? Thanks.

Take it slow. Familiarze yourself with the manual and use quality tools. The ones that usually come with the kit (excluding the XB8) are usually crappy throw aways that don't last very long.

No special tips. Just follow the instruction. Well, the manual is a little bit crappy (blur), just take your time to do it right on the first time.

I built mine without ran into major problem. Only had to dremel one screw to have it fit right.

Overall, it is a good buggy in that price range. Enjoy the build.

I've been racing r/c cars for almost 20yrs now, built a few cars in my time. But its been a couple of years since I built one from scratch, the last 2 cars were used Ebay cars.

OFNA is notorious for having "excellent" instructions.....I'd get chummy w/ some OFNA forum guys if I were you.....

I just finished building this kit. It's the first offroad kit I've built and it went together flawlessly. I had no problems at all with the manual. :2cents:

I'm sure your friend will love the buggy.. I'm having a blast with mine! :redbuggy:

Building him a new car may take away from my winning streak at our local track, lol. He's a good driver but just has'nt had the car to win with. I'm in trouble now.

Just remember... If your building it, he's going to be looking at you to fix it.
Believe me...
