Hello I have a quick question. Was looking at an old vintage trinity 15 turn quad jade motor. My dumb question is that since something like a Traxxas titan is 12t wouldn't the Titan be faster than the old jade ?

Thanks

Ken

no it will be slow less turns is more rpms.. as 10t will be faster than a 12 t not a 15t.

Another significant factor is the Titan is a 550 can where the Trinity is a 540 can... only true way to tell is to run them side by side.... are there bearings in the Trinity motor? If so then it might produce higher top speed where the Titan will likely provide faster top acceleration since it more than likely has a larger rotor (magnet mass).

Too many variables to give an accurate answer, but if I was to place a bet, I go with the 12T 550 over a 15T 540 motor in general... if bearings are in the 540, then that might level things out for speed runs.
