And I have to make another trip into the windy city..I'm already wishing this day was over.

Yea that it is allready had one bathroom drain freese first day of a new job sower froze so had to go use the kids bathroom shower AHHHHHHHH running screaming gonna have to make them clean that room!!!!!!
Oh well off to work on this COLD COLD first day

So correct me if I'm wrong but it's a big no no to use an e-maxx in the snow right?

Hmmm...let's discuss the pro's and con's.

Con's:
Water. However, that can be solved. With a little care, you can make a lot of the truck water resistant. You want to keep water out of the servos, ESC, and batteries. Otherwise the water issue can be managed. One big tip is that if you run in snow, once you're done, immediately get as much snow as you can off the truck. If you have a compressor, blow as much snow and water from the chassis as you can. Then you'll want to make sure you get all the bearings with oil asap as well as any other parts that could rust and cause havoc. Otherwise you should do ok.

Pro's.
Power slides. 4-wheel roosts of snow flying all over. It's a ball driving in the snow. Unfortunately my T-Maxx is in pieces right now or I'd be all over it...

new york is on crazy juice once day cold as the freezer then warms up again.
rc dad,
you waterproof the ESC and ,servos with a product called plasti-dip just dip them in with the instructions cut off the plastidip around the servo horn heads and atach everything up and go!! dont forget the switch.the reciever I'm not too sure i just built a box for mine out of plexiglass.

Thanks for the help!

Looks like those solutions would work. Just keep an eye on the ESC and motor temperatures. Covered like that there will be less airflow so they may heat up.

In temperatures around zero would heat still be a factor?

Is a full roll cage like a must have for an e-maxx?
