Is this normal?

I have an associated gt2 and just got a new servo. When I turn the transmitter and receiver on, the servo goes forward and after like two seconds, it goes back to its normal centered place. Is that normal.

I'd like some info on that one, too. I'm building a heli, and when I turn the system on, one of the three servos to the swash plate goes full throw to the top, and then returns and centers itself.
Getting a small twitch before centering is normal. Full throw is not.
