is this a good deal

Could anyone tell me if this is a good deal, which i think it is, but I dont know nothing aboutthese types of cars. I just traded a guy his t maxx for some stereo stuff which I thought was a good deal because of everything he had on it. Now he wants to trade me a Mugen MTX-2 car with the following.

adjustable shock set
hitec hs 5625 steering servo
r135 3 ch racing reciever
purple screw kit
sts racing roar legal pipe with header
orion reciever pack
hitec hs 545 bb throttle servo
novarossi r12 black pixy motor
k&n filter
2 speed tranny
racing brake pad
rear sway bar
and a jr racing xr3 radio

He wants my playstation 2 for it, i think it sounds good but like i said i dont know if this stuff is good or not. Its only the system 2 controller and 8 games. Sorry for being long winded but any help would be great

hell i think it is a great deal. i personally dont really care for the playstation 2 but i would still do it.

i thought it was two but all the add ons that he told me that was on it, i didnt know if they were good, stock, or what ever. he told me that his buddy was driving down the street at 55 mph and he blew right past him wit hthe car. no how true that is i dont know.

Hell, PS2 is only 199 now. MTX-2 was like a $500 car. I see he has upgraded the motor cause it would have came stock with a MT12 engine. Adjustable shock and 2 speed tranny comes stock. I say trade man.. Looks good. As for going faster than 55mph??? How long of a straight was it? The fastest I got mine clocked by a police radar was 53mph in a parking lot and I think I only went from dead stop to the point where he clocked was about 15 parking spots.

I am not sure how far he was. So how good is that style motor compared to the stock that you said that came on it. Do you know the horse that the motor puts out. Thanks for yalls honesty on letting me know what to do. I already traded this cat some stereo equipment for a pretty nice t maxx that has a hyper os motor on it, with some 1/8 scale ofna pirate rims and tires, and some aluminum. Do any of yall know about the motor on this t maxx, the os hyper motor. That is all I know about it, no size no horse, just what he told me. I was going to ask him but he is out of town until next friday

Dude do it. I just sold my PS2 on ebay a while back and only got $300.00 for it and a stater box. That car is well over $500.00 if I'm not mistaken. I don't think a mugen come totally RTR. Depending on how many games you have for your PS2 I would do it in a heart beat. I want a mugen or something similar and would trade him if I still had my PS2.

thanks for the tips, i am going to trade this cat. i only have the system 2 controllers the memory card, 8 games which you can buy them know for cheap because there old. thanks on the info bryan on the motor, it helps out alot considering i am new to the game.

Yeah dude do it. I think that is an incredible. I gave up my PS2 system for $300.00 and a starter box. I had all of the netgear and like 22 games for PS2 and like 10 PS1 games. I'd do it in a heart beat. Later

Ok.. The stock MT12 that usually comes with the MTX2 kit is rated at 1.25 horse and turns around 39,000 rpms I believe. If not, I'm in the ballpark. Since he upgraded that motor, I'm sure he wouldn't have put a crappy motor in it. Besides, it's a Novarossi... I run nothing but a Novarossi on my cars... I love their engines. Have had 3 and so easy to tune and last I tell you. Lasts if you've tuned them properly. I'm still running my stock MT12 on my mugen and it's been over a year already.
