Is the MGT 8.0 any good???

If you just want speed i dont suggest a monster truck.. typically.. the faster they are the more prone they are to flipping on the slightest turn. Unless you widen the stance and lower it. But I've seen videos of those trucks and they are not joke they do got power. I do believe on a good tune you will have wheelies.. and fast. but not sure of the durability.

I cannot speat of the 8.0 but I do own the 4.6 and it is a great MT. Having a MGT and a Maxx I feel that once all the bugs were worked out of the MGT it is a superior machine to the Maxx. Durability= 8, Speed= (Stock=7/Modified=9). The only issue is parts. Having to order everything online as there arent too many LHS that have alot of associated parts lying around. They have a couple walls of Traxxas though!!!

I have the MGT 8.0 it dose wheelies and is pretty fast and I went end over end about 12 times at high speed's and no break's like nothing happing ,only thing is it likes to get hot but I ran mine at 250 to 290 ,one gal now with no problems

Thats an average temp for mine as well and I've got a few gallons thru it with no issue

Thanks for the info ,I'll just go with that temp as long as it dont go over 300 think I'll be ok from whatI've been reading , I still have lots of smoke and tons of power , it will wheelie at all most any speed and the tune sounds really good < I think I got it just right just seems rich with all the smoke ,but it is my first true BB ,I'm on the end of the first gal just tuned it for good power ,love this truck so far ,Thanks again

No prob. The best is the wheelies from 1st to second gear when your not expecting it!!!! Good times!!!!
