I have a Team Orion Wasp .18 engine that I havent even bolted on my maxx yet. I put all of the crankshaft components on it, and i spun the end of it. The end doesn't spin freely, I mean it wont spin like tires on a bicycle will when you flip it upside down. What I'm saying is when you shut off the engine, is the flywheel supposed to keep spinning for a long time or is it just supposed to stop spinning right away?

Thanx

This should have been posted in the nitro forum. Anyway, the flywheel is not supposed to spin freely.

The flywheel is not supposed to spin freely. It is cinched down on the collet and crank via the clutch nut. Just like in a 1:1, the flywheel's rotational mass keeps the crank rotating after the detonation of the fuel and brings it back up for the next cycle.

Sounds to me like you might have too long of a crankshaft and will probably need to cut it....but don't hold me to it.
