Hey guys...

I broke one of the suspension arms on my buggy today and was considering buying all metal parts and changing over from the plastic ones i have at the moment...any advice would be much appreciated :)

No....I would never put aluminum A-Arms on anything if I intended to run it. Ofna/HoBao have very tough plastic...you would be just adding weight with reduced strength. Chassis braces, knuckles, shock towers ect...are ok for alloy. That is all I would do honestly. Save you money for a bad ass engine or pipe....yeah...faster, to break more parts!! That's the name of the game... ;-)

The only aftermarket arms I would ever consider are RPM. Aluminum bends ab d that weakens the part in that area.

Anodized aluminium looks great but plastics will normaly out perform them at a lesser amount save your money!:hehe:

Aluminium parts are strong but like said before add weight. The thing is with them when you have a crash the impact then moves to the next weakest point and breaks that instead. Could end up damaging something more expensive than the arms.
