I drove all the way out to the LHS to buy deans connectors and all they had was one set. This is the second time I've been there and both times they did not have the part I need.

That's it for me, from now on I'm buying everything on-line.

So now I don't have enough to convert my e-maxx completely over since I had to put deans connectors on my charger.

Would it be safe to run the e-maxx on one motor?

It won't damage the other motor? I don't know if it will force the other motor to turn while the truck is in motion or not.

Maybe I'm confused here. With what's on it now, with the connections you've made. Will it be running on one motor, or one battery?

Would both motors feed off the one battery? I thought they were seperated somehow.

You need to try that. I have the Traxxas Villain IV boat, and it has twin motors, but each goes to a separate out drive. Both motors run together, through the ESC and will run on one or both batteries.
If you Emaxx has both motors on the same spur gear, and only one motor is getting power, the other motor is now running like a generator. If the current being put by that motor can damage the ESC, I don't know, but I wouldn't want to take that risk.
If you really want to run it, just remove the pinion gear from the unpowered motor.
Just remember, the ONE motor will be working very hard and may overheat.

It's not your fault, I blame the LHS, everytime I go there they are out of everything.

I've been pushing Deans connectors at the LHS since reading a report on connectors a couple of weeks ago. Now the LHS can't keep them in stock.
When I first started putting them on my electric planes and boats a couple of years ago, I got a package of 24. I have one left.

Well I just ordered 6 sets. Can't take my T3 out, theres too much snow, it would definitely get into the esc.
