AS far as what men say and how we don't think about it I have to agree....I was always the smallest kid until I turned 17-18......I never shut my yap when I was getting picked on or even beaten...I'd rather be dipped in a mountain of mixed shits before giving into what bullies want (to make you fear them)....I got my ass beat ALOT.....and all because I didn't know when to STFU......I'm still the same way, I tell people exactly what I think, fiddlesticks em if they don't like it.......at least now it's a lil harder for someone to beat my ass :D
 
I'm a little late on this one, but hey NitroST why don't you ask her weight while you at it? Plaid can tell ya how dem shoes taste!!! LOL Seriously though since this thread got side tracked a little. I doubt very highly the Revo is doing 70mph especially when she paid almost double for the thing. Really how could she have done enough research in something to make it go that fast when she can't even research the price to start!

If it was me, I would say ok and leave it at that. I've learned early in life there is no use aruging with someone older than you are dispite your knowledge on the subject. I'm 30 years old and reallize age doesn't always mean you know everything. I'm pretty sure there some 12 year old kid out here who knows more about this stuff than I do.

Yep, its possible....Major gear reduction on spur/pinion and ridulously large tires would do it but it would be so slow on the bottom end and soooooo out of control on the top end i don't think it would be drivable. But yes it IS possible....very unlikely, especially in this scenario.
 
Here's why I think it's unlikely she has one that hits 70mph (and I'm not knocking you danny, just your counselor's word).....I've seen the Fusion, A car claimed to go 80 right out of th ebox....has 3 speed tranny nad all....first time I saw it go was in a parking lot.....it flipped over when it started revving 3rd gear hard...I mean just got air under the car and WHAM....on it's lid......second time, following it in car (1:1) in parking lot...at 50 the hting gets squirelly and spins out......okay go tweak the suspension and round 3........the tiniest amount of play in teh front bearings from the previous crashes made a very small movement, still spun silky smooth but had a tiny amount of play....we followed it again and at 65 the thing starts shimmying all over and just starts cartwheeling........now that was a car that is designed to go warp speed for an RC.......and that slight play made it loose control and flip out....
NOW take a revo....even one modded fully and tell me those big ass tires won't have ANY play in them.....not to mention it siting a few inches off the ground.....an MT going that fast would just flail through the air if you said BOO at it....

I agree with plaid... I've seen vids of the shumacher menace (not sure of the spelling there...). Even it being as low to the ground as it is, low body, small low profile tires, it can't get much above 50mph either without getting air under the nose and flipping. Short of putting a revo sticker on a 1/8th or 1/5th on-road car, I highly doubt anything "called" a revo would go that fast before wiping out.
