whats the difference between a trickle charger and a regular charger. is there any difference

a trickle charger charges just a small amount to keep your battery fully charged after its left on the charger for a while. A regular charger charges full power all the time. you can overcharge and ruin a battery if you keep a full charger on for too long. If i'm wrong somebody correct me.

That's correct. A peak charger will charge full power (usually at a specific charge rate that is selected by the user) and will charge to the battery's full capactiy then let a trickle of energy into it to keep it charged. A regular charger can and will ruin a battery if left on for too long. It's better to invest in a Peak charger rather than replacing batteries after ruining them.

I think next time if you have a question about electronic stuff you might put it in the General Electric Forum

you might get a quicker faster reply
