IPod Touch Or Classic IPod 160GB?

Hey Guys,

What is your thoughts? I have nowhere near 160GB of video or audio. Which one do you guys recomend?

Id go with the touch. I think those things are sweet lookin. Pluse if you want it to watch vid's the screen is bigger! 160 gigs is alot, I can't even get my 30gig vid to half full lol.

I've a had a bunch of ipods and most recently got the iphone which is the same as the touch just less memory and the addition of the phone. Unless you're are going to be using it a lot I'd save the cash and go for the classic, or go all the way and get the iphone. The touch just seems a bit expensive for what it is. here is a pic of the iphone and the 80gb side by side for comparison

I have a Classic, 80GB. And am very happy, I like to have a large movie and music collection. The touch is neat and novel but its bigger screen doesn’t justify the low memory and high $$, imo.


But, I know the touch is damn cool!!!!
The Gen2 will be sweet.

I've got an 80GB classic and love it. plenty of memory and good screen for videos and such. Picture quality is amazing.

i'd say the iod touch... i mean, 160GB is more than most computers can hold. much less just music, videos and pictures

I have a 60 GB iPod Video. I have a verrryyy large movie and music collection and am always trying to juggle what I put on it in the way of movies and music. My mp3 collection is way over 100 GB and my movie collection takes up most of a 320 GB hard drive. I would recommend the classic. If you don't need all the room on the 160 GB Classic I'd say get the 80 GB classic. If you like the touch, I'd recommend getting the iPhone also. It means you have less to carry around with you. Sometimes when I travel I have more electronic devices on me than some commercial aircraft!
