anyone know the website for the instruction book and parts list exploded views for the gs storm.

Also is the chassis the same for the gs storm and gs storm pro?

so if i get this straight --------the drive axles from the front and back to the center are longer with the pro version so if i want to build a pro on an rtr chassis i would need to buy the axles from the rtr version and just use those with the pro version instead of using the pro axles. ......Will that hurt the performance any?
 
if you keep the RTR chassis, you really don't need the pro driveshafts..they may actually be too tight in the center diff drive cups. stick with the RTR drive shafts, they fit the RTR chassis.

you shouldn't have any other compatibility issuse with a RTR to pro conversion.
 
Nope, that's the only thing, really. I converted my Strorm RTR to a Pro and that was the only "gotcha" I found. Everything else was pretty cut and dry. The pro chassis is pretty nice overall.

It was a fun conversion though and it really makes you appreciate the differences. The Storm Pro is actually quite a bit better then the RTR!

Of course, you don't want to stop there. You need to get those Hardcore Racing titanium shock towers =) At least the front one. That's what I got, anyways. I broke two shock towers (one was a so-called "indescructable" aftermarket one) so I finally just got the front one from HR. It's very sweet!

CVD stands for Constant Velocity Drive which is MIP specific name for them, I actually think it is pantented or TM'ed by them. You will here them called CVA's (Constant Velocity Axels) Or Universals by other manufacturers.
