Integy piggybacks or traxxas bb shocks?

Was in a hobby shop yesterday looking for GT-R shocks for my Revo, and the guy tried selling me the Integy piggybacks...so I said no thanks those aren't so hot. He then told me of how he disassembled them, bored out the holes from reservoir to shock body, and they worked 10x better...I'm thinking if I'm paying $20 a shock, I shouldn't have to put extra work into making them work decent. I picked up the GT-R shocks and bid him good day.

With that name, powerstroke shouldn't be in your vocabulary ^, they are expensive....last I knew.

I wouldn't use a set of free integarbage shocks.

Paul you shouldn't TOOT your horn if you can't back it up.

Stoner you may want to use your stock springs on them big bores. The bb springs I got were disappointing, to say the least. The shocks, awesome.

The BB springs are softer. For some stupid reason, they come with the e-maxx spring which is a softer spring.

my guess is they do that on purpose in hopes that you might buy their progressive white springs. tho i do really like their progressive spring.

That would make sense, but the BB's were out long before they made the progressive springs. Those have only been around a few years I think, but the shocks have been around for 10.

Regardless, it's lame that they didn't at least put the original nitro maxx springs on them.

I got my Integy Piggback shocks off ebay used for $65 to my door, I cannot complain, my trucks handle way better. Not all integy stuff is garbage imo... The only other integy part on my truck is the front bulkheads... Everything else is RPM, spektrum or dynamite...

Integy is all about appearence. Traxxas Big Bore's are for full out function. Never blown one apart and always something has given not the Big Bore's.
