Installing hump pack trouble!

well the connection on the hump is J...and the existing battery connection for the savage 25rtr is the small red connection (so it can't go there) ..and i plugged it into slot 0 but then everything is ON and running ..even when the switch is on OFF ..so what do i do?
 
Go to your LHS and get a new on off switch that will accept the J style connector. This will come with an extra wire lead so you won't have to remove your battery from it's tray to charge it. I think I paid like $5.00 for a new wire harness thingamabobber
 
thanks but i just exacto'ed it and it fits perfect now
 
I don't get it??What did you cut?? did you crimp on a new connector or what. You have me curious as to what you were getting at in the first place. I was under the impression that you were looking at the small red style connector.
 
You can trim the tab down on the connector, as he probably did.
