Well i just put on the Clear dust cover for gearbox tonight and the cover also came with a nice looking alluminum mounting spacer with allen head screws(Two Fatboy Motor Screws with Washers) makes it look more appealing to the eye check out the pics!
also notice the black hole plug in the cover u can remove it for quik easy access to losen or tighten the slip....

first pic shows the screw kit that came with it , looks nice and neat right?

thanks Team 17.. when i took it to a hobby shop where they were racing mini t's they were all surrounding me.. questioning me to death...lol even got a few offers to sell ..


as far as how much money in alluminum.. this will be a ball park guess

i know for sure theres over $400.00 in alluminum the chassis was $70 bucks but it came with the alluminum chassis support. all together the car prolly has over $650 in it
 
yea i bet with the speed control and receiver wich i had the XXL on it i prolly was at around $800
