Nope. Just make sure it has loads of torque for a rig that big. Which one are you putting in?

As long as you have a Futaba or compatible transmitter you should be fine.

You can use analog or digital servos with pretty much any receiver.

Just so you know the futaba recivers don't work with the traxxas controller. You will need a complete set.. a futaba controller and the reciver
