The title says it all. The guys at the lhs suckered me in to buying a new 3.3.

Wow, that reminds me of when mine was new and clean. Same color lid and all. I remember it was a bitter sweet moment, I couldn't wait to run it but also knew it would never be that clean again.

@mud how do you like it?

I was torn between another T-Maxx or another Revo. Just got my Revo today and getting it out of box right now. Does matter how many I have or how old I get..a new truck in the box is like Christmas morning haha. I will photo in a minute!

thats a sweet truck you got there. i wish i could switch my 2.5 out for that 3.3 without charge. it would make life easier. i would get a fresh new start!

Ok Mud....My "green bean Revo" is out of the box. Let the set up begin. I can't run this joker wide open so before break in we will set the suspension to my personal favorites. Notice new axles will be installed also.

I will enjoy tearing down a clean truck for a change.

AHH. Nothing like pulling a fresh new rig out of the box. I can smell the "new truck smell" from here. Enjoy them guys.

^^Ya, that sure is a great smell. :hehe: Nice revo SC, have you started break-in yet? I am going to start break-in tonight myself.

That's how I feel about a new rig too. I love when they are clean, but I will enjoy getting it dirty.

I go back to work sunday night after being laid off for 6 months. When I get caught back up you best believe a new 3.3 is in store. Unfortunaly I have never had a brand new rc. Ever!

Finished the break in last night and did a bit of bashing today. I am very impressed with the power of the new 3.3 from my old 2.5. I am also glad that traxxas eliminated reverse and the centrifugal clutch inside the tranny. This rig turned out to be a great purchase!!

Ya I just got finished putting my axles, push rods etc on. I run my suspension a certain way so I set it up and I'm getting ready to break in. Changed out all hardware to stainless there are way to many screws on this rig.

I went ahead and sealed the case, carb etc. look at the the zips on exhaust boot. Had to redo that too. After break-in a few holes cut in body and we roll!
