I am not trying to start a flame post again. But, what do you guys think if we can spend the extra 120 dollars (approx) to buy after market parts and make the Tmaxx more tough and can make it strong rather than paying the extra for the savage? As, my friend and i are debating. He will get a savage but i told me do it like me, the following way. My local hobbie shop asks 460.00 for salvage and 379.00 for Tamxx. Speed is not a concern for me and him!! The main factor to debate is how well you can spend your $$, not brand, speed, abusive level etc!!

55.00= front and rear alu b.heads
35.00=frong and rear and middle alu skid plate
May be, front alu. UPPER arms

What do you think?? :argue:

With all the things I have heard then I would try and get a REVO rather than the other two. Seems very strong . You would spend more but your repair bills could be a lot less when bashing. I still have the tmaxx so All I did was get a Sirio 23 and now upgrades the arms and pipe.

I stay away from aluminum stuff as much as possible unless we are talking cooling head or a engine mount.

I agree with Jon. I've heard a lot of great things about the Revo. I think that would be the best way to spend the extra cash if you want something other than a Savage.
