That's right, at 7am tomorrow I will be on my way to Homestead for the last race of the year. I got tickets to the Nascar Craftsman Truck series race, the Busch series race, and the Nextel cup race. Championship weekend, man I'm stoked!!! Heres a 3d image of the view from my seats, not the best but they are still pretty decent, coming out of turn 4.

Homestead - Miami Speedway

Have fun man! And may Stewart get #2 and JJ be the first loser again! Busch race should be interesting too, close run between Truex and Boyer.

You are going to have really good time.
And I will be stuck watching it on the TV.

I'm with you. MAn it looks HUGE! And like alot of fun! Be sure to bring a cam so we can see some pics!

You luck dog! This should be a great race to watch...Hopfully Tony will meet the wall before it's over.

Have fun

So what are the tracks in Nascar? 1 Mile exactly? I have seen a lot of show on discovery about how they build maintain and tear em up every year or so, But I never realized it was on such a grand scale.

Damn Joe. That rules. The seats don't look too bad. Good view of most of the track. Have a ball, man. I'm hoping to hit at least one race next year. May drag the GF to Lowe's. She's a Tony fan but I love her anyway...

And Tweak, the NASCAR tracks range in size from 1/2 mile (Bristol) up to 2.5 miles (Daytona, Talladaga). The nice thing is that most of them are unique configurations so it's a challenge every week for them to set their cars up properly.

NC Nitro, have an awesome time at the race, man! My father attends about 6-8 races a year and he always ends up with the sweetest seats there! You see, he works for the US EPA and is attached to Homeland Security. One of his "jobs" is to attend NASCAR races and, essentially, he has carte blanche. He's sent me pictures of him in pit row, in the garage area, leaning up against a few cars (Tony's being one of them) and a picture of him and JJ. He also got me one of the scuffs off JJ's car!

The bummer is, he never takes me with him! He claims I would never pass as an US EPA official. Please, I'm in sales! I can pretend to be whatever I want!

Anyhow, have a great time!

Actually Talladega is 2.66 miles...
