I'm in the market for a laptop. Help

Hey guys, I'm looking for a laptop. Nothing special, basically to use the net, music, and pics. I'm keeping my desk top for the heavy thinking.

I'd like to stay under $600 tax included. I've found this.

Which is basically what I'm looking for in price, and accessories. I like the screen size, memory is ok for what I need, ram is acceptable, and so on. The question is can I find a better computer for that same ammount of money? We really like the 15.4" screen, but I wouldn't cry if I would get a bigger one.

Honestly Ben I would go to the store to "test drive"a Laptop. But if you must buy online, I would look into getting a Dell. The prices are pretty dang good for the product.

My dad has pretty much the same one as I listed. The only difference is the processor this one has an intel and the other is an amd. I like it. Just wondering what the concensus was.

The Celeron processor is the downfall to the one you posted. It's more of a business ap processor.

The Celeron processors are OKAY but the heat resistance for them is not ideal compared to the INTEL Pentium ones.

they have a real good search engine for that stuff.....I've bought plenty of stuff from there and only had one issue, and dell replaced the item real quick....it was a PDA and the screen was fuzzy.....

Dude IMO get a Dell for the price and what you can customize on it you can't go wrong, I've got a Inspirion 9300 and love it, everything i need in a laptop and more.

Has anybody bought a scratch & Dent from dell? There is one for the right price, but I don't want somthing that looks like it was run over by a car.
