I am so tired of my D4s getting kicked out of drift tracks for one with a 4wd system and one with an aggressive body roll system, so I have sold my 4wd one and got myself a D5 MR2.1 Evo. The stuff will come tonight (3/5 for those who see this late). I will update this constantly. :)

Sorry my wifi was out last night but here is the stuff! Ill update yall when its done. Also I love answering questions so AMA

Yeah, the track it strict about no 4wd vehicles. I will give them the fact that it's a slim track, but I don't like it.
Here's our track:

Also, I got the wrong size motor gear, so it will be a sec till it drifts

Why are drift tracks against 4wd cars? Because they drift faster and don't look like they're stuck in slow motion?
What do they have against fun? lol
Some claim that the high speed causes issues with other 2WD drivers. Others want "true drifting."

Mounted the Gyro! Now I am waiting for some cosmetic things and a battery.
I hate Amazon. The "drift slick tyres" I got were just rally tyres, and the battery that, according to listings, would be fine was tripping the low voltage on my ESC. At least the body was fine.

The words drift and slick when it comes to tires generally don't go together. For batteries, I usually like about a 20% margin above what I actually need amperage wise. How were reviews on those items? I'd just return them both if it were me.

Both are returned. Batteries were probably botted reviews, and the wheels had none. Batteries were rated for 80A. At full throttle, my car pulls about 55A. They would trip the low voltage at 27A.

Also, can you recategorize this as a build thread?

Are you asking me to move it to the build thread section? Just making sure before I do it.

Drift tracks ban 4x4 due to the fact it causes damage to the track it’s just a fact, it will have more grip and it’s putting power down to 4 wheels instead of the two rear. On top of that, 4wd drifting isn’t true drifting. It’s power sliding.

Enjoy the new chassis, it looks good. Tires play a huge role as well and most tracks have a tire spec you have to follow. Most surfaces will require different spec of tires.

Listen to other drifters (mainly the ones that have been doing it awhile). You will gain a lot of knowledge and they will help you tremendously.
