have you guys got any ideas, when my engine gets up to temperature the throttle valve that moves near the carburetor, sticks when i try to accelerate stopping the car from moving but when the engine cools down it starts moving freely again, sorry my description is not very clear this is the best i can describe it.

Hmm...interesting. I would ask the same question as above first. Is it a slide or rotary carb? I have had some that stick but they usually stick no matter what the temp.
A few other qestions. What brand and size engine is it? What car or truck is it in? Any pics? Could it be a linkage issue? How old is the engine? How much fuel has been through it?
It could be time for a carb cleaning. That's not too hard. Sometimes you just have to take the carb apart and clean off the throttle cylinder. That could help. But not enough info yet.

sticking throttle valve.

This is the spec of my car guys. click on the link for a picture.
The engine is only 3 weeks old and has had about 8 tanks of fuel through it.

When you say linkage problem are you talking about the metal rod that comes of the throttle valve
