The only thing that i can see that i need to do is change out the connectors from crap tamiya to TRX but other than that the boat is in perfect shape

i know someone that put twin SV27 brushless setups in one of those Villains... quite a handfull to run.

Nice find Rob. I've thought about a boat a few times, just no good place to run one here though.

thanx man. . .i actually have a couple of good places to run one so it was ideal for me to have one, i mean i have the local marina, a lake less than 10 minutes away, the river with in walking distance so i figured why not.. .i picked this boat and a savage flux for a great price ( good friend was unloading a bunch of stuff and i got first dibs on it)

i'm thinking about dual velinions in it eventually

no clue what those are lol. I'm clueless when it comes to electric...other then knowing, the top stuff is big $$$. Was looking into building a "P" class Tunnel (Cat) to go after record.. but for the $600+ just in running gear, i can just build another gasser.

ArrowShark actually makes a onboard electric starter for gassers... heavy and break gears alot though.

The Aquacraft BL motors & ESC's seem to be pretty good though. Guys are running near 70mph with JAE riggers using UL1 motor/esc. I may build a twin cat just to mess around with, using twin UL1 setups.. as its only about $300 for both motors & esc's.
