I have notice that no one likes or said something about the trx pro .15 and i think its just as good as anyother .12 and i think it is a very dureable engine. my air filter fell off and i thought it was dead just cean the carb and i was ready to go again and i had fun tuening it today just a little teaks and POW!! it does weelies. forward and backward(backward is the best) so if you had to say something nice about the pro what would it be?

It makes a great back-up engine.

Prior to going with a Fantom, I had no real problems with my TRX Pro .15. It was just not powerful enough to move my heavy modified T-Maxx around the way it moved the stock version around. I thought it was easy to tune and held its settings pretty well. Can't say much else, 'cause now it is cleaned, oiled, and sitting in a zip-loc baggie in my field box.

The CV-RX is a great mill. Its essentially the CVR - the X is for pullstart so you know. If you can, get the HYPER version. It has a better cooling head. But, if you write to OS and tell them your mill is running at 320 they will consistantly respond with, "Thats ok! Tune for performance!".

They offer the warranty so by all means.

I really like OS mills. But right now, I'm taking a HUGE liking to Nova Rossi and Mugen Seiki mills. SCREAMERS!!!!!!!!!!!

I keep my TRX Pro around for a spare. Beat to hell but still runs. Just not good enough to run the Maxx any more. I might trade it for the 2.5 when enough are around.

hmmm....something nice...i have it in my office...makes a good paperweight. the e-z start engine works good in my electric plane. The stock cooling head is a nice play toy for my cat. i might take the engine apart and make a wind chime:banana:

lol i did say someting nice about it...o yea and i found out it is a nice wind chime. the engine case and sleeve make a nice "CLAAAANG!!" when u bang em together.

I still run the Pro in both my T's and it serves the purpose

It would have been a much better mill if they(Traxxas) would have matched the ports, but an ok mill

The stock Pro is a sleeping giant just waiting to wake up and kick some butt. I've run several engines in my T - and it's quite heavy now.
Stock TRX-Pro .15 - pretty meager performance
Megatech M-16 - stepped up the performance about 30%
OS CV-RX - about the same as the M-16
Two ported Pro 15's...first one was on par with the M-16

Second one by Hebron Performance was unbelievable! Read the review on my site (dang, it's getting slammed again, try later).

WELL ITS BEEN THROUGH 2 gal with no rebuild and i love the return policy with traxxas:banana:
