tmaxx 3.3 with the grey tranny, still has reverse.

If ya sit on the breaks.... it will hold still and idle pretty well. if ya let off the breaks its like to roll away and gain speed. If ya pick it up of ther ground the wheels get going pretty good.

can't lower the idle any more it will stall.

Is my slipper too tight???

EIther your tune is too lean, or maybe check your throttle trim.

+1 on the clutch or tune

If it's tuned bad, you may not be able to get it to idle down without stalling.
If your clutch springs are broke/worn/stretched, shoes are worn and dragging, clutch bearings are dry and seizing, your clutch will remain engaged (or cause heavy drag) even at a proper idle.

its not the throttle trim. doesn't seem to be the clutch spring.....

lean condition..............hmmmmmmmmmmmm...............

high speed or low speed needle?

Could be both have you tinkered with either

If the clutch spring is stretched or worn, visibly you prob wouldn't be able to tell. I would replace it or cut a few coils off and rehook it first. If that doesn't do it you might try richening up the lsn. If you still have problems you might have an air leak. Either way now is as good a time as ever to seal the engine up

Need to put a new clutch spring in it.

If it idles at the right speed & well but keeps moving forward when off the brakes your clutch spring is weak and needs replaced.

I think I am gonna go with the 3 shoe setup.
